The name “Tocayo” is Spanish for a person’s namesake. Colloquially, it means that you share strong interests with another person or are like minded. Chef Rick Bayless, a James Beard award-winning chef, has long had a passion for great beer that has accompanied his passion for creating great Mexican cuisine. Now, Chef Bayless has partnered with Phil Wymore (Perennial Artisan Ales), Jim and Jason Ebel (Two Brothers Brewing Company), and Constellation Brands, the leading producer of high-end Mexican beers, to create Tocayo Hominy White Ale, a great-tasting, sessionable, and refreshing beer inspired by the flavors of Mexico.
