About

Shortway Brewing Company was founded by husband & wife duo, Matt & Lindsay Shortway. The couple shares a combined passion for brewing, design, and community service. Matt's background in bio-molecular science fuels his desire to brew high quality beer, while Lindsay's communication & design experience has influence over the taproom atmosphere. After 10 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, Matt, Lindsay & their 3 children have planted roots in Coastal Carolina and couldn't be happier to be a part of the Newport community.
