Neck of the Woods Brewery strives to produce the highest quality craft beer in Gloucester County, New Jersey. Our brewery provides a wide variety of unique beers that appeal to a broad range of tastes and preferences. Using premium equipment, a careful brewing process, and fresh ingredients, Neck of the Woods seeks to deliver the perfect sip in every sip. Our Story ​ Our big, bold brewery beginnings: We created Neck of the Woods to turn our passion for beer into a reality. We decided to create the beer we wanted to sip. We decided to create the community we wanted to experience. Like the name suggests, Neck of the Woods has a humble beginning that started with four friends and a weekend of beer. In 2014, Paul, Frank, Dave, and Bruce were on a beer trip to the Chicago/Green Bay area when we got a crazy idea: create our own an artisan brewery that could bring together craft-brew enthusiasts and newbies alike. After touring breweries across the country, the crew knew we didn’t want just any brewery. We wanted a place to call home; an alternative to the conventional bar scene where every crisp, refreshing sip exploded with local flavors and high-quality craft. Like scientists in a lab, in 2015, the crew began developing recipes using their custom-made 1.5 Barrel Electric Brewing system built by Frank Price and Paul McIntyre. In 2016, as we continued to test for the perfect taste, Neck of the Woods Brewing LLC was born. ​ After years of working in Frank's garage, developing recipes, and scouting locations, Neck of the Woods was finally ready to enter a physical space. The team began construction in their space inside of Total Turf Experience in August 2018, and personally participated in most of the construction. Some of the highlights of our personal labor include the custom live edge slab wood bar top and tables, the barn wood wall, and the custom draft system with taps that pour out of an Eastern Red Cedar log. For years, we worked tirelessly to bring you this space, and we’re proud to reflect our roots in everything we do at Neck of the Woods. That’s our story, and it continues to unfold with every sip.
