After months of planning, experimenting, and overcoming challenges, Goldwater Brewing Co. officially opened its doors on May 1, 2015. Their success stems from the combined strengths of each member: Greg's business acumen, Chad's brewing expertise, Dillon's creative vision, and Jimmy's operational skills.

Opening a taproom in East Mesa in January of 2020 was a homecoming for us brothers. Born and raised here, it only made sense for Jimmy, Dillon, and Chad to bring a Goldwater Taproom to the community where our friends, family, and roots are. East Mesa thrives on a sense of community, and we’re proud to be a local hangout where regulars feel right at home and newcomers quickly become familiar faces. With a spacious taproom and a relaxed vibe, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy great beer and connect with friends.

Our story began in Old Town Scottsdale, where we opened our doors in May of 2015. We chose this bustling neighborhood for its vibrant mix of culture, art, and tourism—it felt like the perfect place to share our passion with both locals and visitors from all over. Since day one, our goal has been to create a welcoming spot where anyone can unwind and enjoy a great beer, whether you’re a seasoned craft beer lover or just stopping by on your Scottsdale adventure. If you’re in town, we’ve always got something fresh on tap for you.

In May 2023, we opened our 3rd and newest Taproom in South Tempe, excited to be part of this vibrant and laid-back community. We knew this area was full of people who appreciate good, local beer, and we wanted to make it easier for them to find a spot to unwind. Like East Mesa, this location relies on a steady stream of regulars and newcomers who quickly become familiar faces. With a rotating lineup of brews and the same friendly atmosphere you’ve come to expect from us, South Tempe is a great place to kick back, catch up, and explore what’s on tap.
