Our brewery is named for its location and its attitude. Until the railroad came in 1884, Frog level was swampland. By the 30’s and 40’s Frog Level was the hustle & bustle in Waynesville. This was the place where blue collar folks worked hard in factories and warehouses to raise families…to do their part to make Haywood County what it is today. Ours beers are distinct in their attitude and ingredients, by brewing as much “Haywood County” as possible into each batch!
