In 1997, two friends united by camaraderie embarked on a journey to fulfill a shared dream: opening a brewpub. Todd Carden and Brent Norton established Elliott Bay Brewing Co. to create family-friendly, community-focused gathering spaces grounded in good food, beer, and service. Throughout our incredible 25-year adventure, we’ve been grateful for the countless friendships formed along the way. Starting as one of the 33 breweries in Washington, we’ve witnessed the growth to over 425 today, and we stand proud as one of Seattle’s genuine brewpubs, dedicated to the experience of gathering over delicious food and beer, including our latest addition of canned beers. As we navigate the years ahead, recovering from the pandemic’s impact, we eagerly anticipate rebuilding what we’ve lost and rekindling the sense of belonging we all cherish—whether at the bar, table, or outdoor seating area. Our unwavering focus remains on providing the pub experience our guests expect while maintaining a strong commitment to the environment and the staff and customers that support us.
