When Kent’s parents bought a house in the Finger Lakes, hanging on the lamp post was a sign with the name ‘Braeloch’. That home in the Finger Lakes came to be a place where our family and close friends would gather throughout the year for reunions, just to relax, just to talk, and just to have fun. It is a place to go to unwind and be away from the rest of life. That is what is behind why we started Braeloch Brewing. A place where the community can come for great craft beer, local food, and just hang out and enjoy what life has to offer. Braeloch Brewing was formed by two couples (Kent & Amy Steeves and Matt & Kathy Drysdale) that grew up with the highest of standards of Family-first and creating life-long memories of family gatherings, reunions with friends, pulling together multiple community networks, and helping make connections among strangers that last forever. Our families grew up in the swimming and diving world – fantastic community, competition, and Real relationship building. All the pool parties, pub crawls, hotel lobby take-overs, and community support network are what has motivated us to try and bring more of that to Kennett Square and “The 3rd Place” concept for Braeloch Brewing.
