Black Dog Brewing Company officially opened it’s doors in 2020 with a goal of making world class beer while holding onto our local identity. Our brewery name as well as our flag ship beer was taken from our mascot and best friend, Shelby, a Great Dane – Black Lab mix. Shelby has since passed but we try to capture her playfulness, companionship, and spirit in all of our beers. Currently, our beer is distributed all throughout Central Indiana to bars, restaurants, and package/grocery retailers. The brewery itself is open Tuesday through Sunday, weekly. We offer food and beer as well as a few other drink options including wine, cider, and soon to be spirits.
